Sheenagh McNally from Supporting Communities presents tenants and staff from Apex with the Silver Tenant Participation Accreditation.
Celebrating tenants and supporting communities
Last week, we held our annual Tenant Celebration Event in Belfast. Tenants and residents from across Northern Ireland joined us to celebrate what they have achieved over the last year and to learn more about how Apex continues to support communities.
Sheenagh McNally from ‘Supporting Communities’ was guest speaker at the event and provided an overview of how Apex was assessed for an accreditation earlier this year. The ‘Tenant Participation Accreditation’ is a robust and structured process for assessing how well landlords involve tenants and residents in their services – with Apex being presented with a silver award.

Lunchtime music was provided by Davy Tee, followed by a demonstration by Shauna from Ballymurphy Healthy Living Centre in EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping, which can be used to help relieve stress and anxiety.
Finally, we held our inaugural ‘Unsung Heroes’ Awards to recognise the tenants and residents making a difference in their community. Nominated by their neighbours, it was our pleasure to announce the winners and present them with a certificate and gift voucher.
