Group structure

Apex Housing Association (Apex) is a major housing association managing a stock of more than 6,000 homes, which will grow to over 7,000 when our current planned programmes are completed.
Apex provides housing, care and support for the needs of the whole community in a variety of settings across Northern Ireland Ireland.
To assist with the development and management of its activities, Apex operates through a group structure:
- Apex Housing Association Limited – parent housing association registered with the Department for Communities. It has charitable status.
- Fairbuild Homes (NI) Limited – subsidiary company set up to build properties for private sale. It is a ‘not for profit’ company and any surplus generated is donated back to Apex under the terms of a Management Agreement and Covenant.
- Newington Housing Association Limited, Belfast – subsidiary housing association registered with the Department for Communities. It operates in North Belfast where it manages 500 units of accommodation. It has charitable status and its own Board of Management.
Associated Company (outside Group Structure)
- Apex Housing Association (Ireland) Limited – established in 1995 as an approved housing body in the Republic of Ireland where it manages over 200 units of accommodation. It is governed by its own Board of Management and has charitable status.
