By direct debit
This is the preferred method for paying your rent. It provides you with a convenient, secure and reliable way to ensure that your payments are made regularly. The scheme is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.
How does a Direct Debit work?
By signing up for a Direct Debit you are giving your bank or building society permission to allow payments to be debited from your account and transferred to Apex.
How do I set up a Direct Debit?
If you’re not already signed up and wish to change to paying by direct debit please contact your Apex Housing Officer on: 028 7130 4800
Who will collect the payment?
Payments are collected by payment collection specialists, Allpay Limited on behalf of Apex.
When your direct debit is set up, Allpay will write and inform you of:
- when your Direct Debit will commence
- how much the payments will be
How often will payments be collected?
You can choose to pay your rent:
- weekly
- fortnightly
- 4 weekly or monthly
Is there a charge for paying rent by Direct Debit?
You may be charged an initial Direct Debit set up fee by your bank or building society. All other costs involved with collecting the payments are met by Apex.
What if my rent charge changes?
The amount collected from your account will automatically change if there is an increase or decrease in your charge. Apex will inform you of any amendments to your rent charge before the new amount is collected.

Whichever method of payment you choose, you remain responsible for payments reaching Apex on time.
