Apex with Children in Crossfire

Since 2001 Apex has been working with Children in Crossfire (CIC), an international charity based in Derry~Londonderry, to fund various projects in Kenya and Tanzania. All projects are initiated and carried out by local communities and CIC has a director in each country to oversee their work to make sure all funding is properly used and the project correctly managed when completed to benefit the wider community.

Apex raises funding from a number of key sources:

• 'Give As You Earn' donations from staff salaries;
• fundraising activities organised by tenants/residents groups;
• fundraising activities organised by staff; and
• donations
