Describe what your job involves:
I carry out site inspections for quality of workmanship and liaise with the architect to ensure that the contractor is following the drawing and specifications.
What do you like most about your job?
Working with a variety of architects and contractors on various sites. And having great work colleagues.
Describe Apex in three words.
Provides quality homes.
What advice would you give someone starting out in your career area?
Master the basic skills, work on your communication skills and learn how to be tactful. Always pay attention to detail and build up your industry knowledge.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Amateur radio, bee keeping, fishing and listening to music.
What did you want to be when growing up?
Tradesman.
What is the first concert you attended?
The Stranglers.
What is your favourite book or film?
Das Boot is a great book and my favourite film is All Quiet on the Western Front.
Favourite motto or personal mantra?
Treat people how you want to be treated yourself.
