After successfully applying for funding from Apex’s Community Involvement Grant Fund, tenants from Dove Gardens, Derry / Londonderry organised a very enjoyable fun day for their neighbours and local community.
The tenants organised bouncy castles, nail painting, balloon modeller, face painting, music and food. The tenants and their families really enjoyed themselves, with all ages being catered for.
Active Tenant Michelle Toland said
“The day went so well and everyone was out participating and the weather added to it”.
Cathy Casey said
The street atmosphere was brilliant. All the kids were out and the whole day went well”
The tenants are already starting to plan for next year’s event and thanked Apex for the funding they received.
The Community Involvement Grant scheme is now open with the closing date
