Sinead Moore, Finance Officer
Sinead Moore has been a Finance Officer with Apex for over 20 years, working in the Derry~Londonderry office. We sat down with Sinead to chat about her role, what Apex is like as an employer and how she enjoys spending her spare time outside of work.

Describe what your job involves:
My job involves processing payroll and pension contributions for members of staff, and reporting monthly figures to management.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy working with numbers, analysing data and problem-solving. I like that I can organise my own workflow as this allows me to be more productive, meaning I can meet deadlines in a timely manner.

What advice would you give someone starting out in your career area?
It’s important to explore both management accounting and financial accounting careers, to see which you enjoy best.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like going to the cinema, eating out at restaurants, going on walks and meditating.
What did you want to be when growing up?
An accountant, or a French teacher.
What is the first concert you attended?
Garth Brooks in 1994.
What is your favourite film?
The Wizard of Oz.
