Visiting Apex Schemes

Following the launch of visiting guidelines by the Department of Health earlier this month, Apex is pleased to announce that visiting to its schemes is now possible again; but that new processes are in place to ensure visits are facilitated in a safe manner.
Deirdre Walker, Director of Supported Living, explains:
Being able to visit your relative after such a long period of time will be a very emotive and important time for all. However, it is important to understand that at this time the visiting process will be very different from what you will have been used to before the Covid 19 pandemic.
The people we care for in our homes and schemes continue to be at high risk of infection. Therefore it’s extremely important that all visitors adhere to each scheme’s visiting policy and guidelines at all times to ensure we keep residents, tenants, staff and visitors as safe as possible.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding in recent months. We know that these have been difficult times for our tenants, residents and families; and we will keep you informed of any changes to visiting policy as they occur.
Every Apex scheme has its own guidelines in place and you will be provided with these in advance of visiting. For any queries regarding visiting, contact the manager of the relevant scheme directly.
