Tenants and volunteers celebrated at annual event
Yesterday we held our second annual Tenant and Volunteer Celebration Event in the Holywell Trust in Derry~Londonderry. The event allowed us to celebrate the great work being done by tenants and volunteers who help make their communities thriving and caring places to live.
Those who attended enjoyed a get together, shared a lovely lunch and received a small token of thanks from Apex. They also heard about different projects being worked on both in supported living and general needs housing.
Donna Matthewson, Director of Housing at Apex, spoke at the event. Afterwards she commented:
It was great to see so many of our tenants from both general needs and supported living homes involved in our work. Feedback from all our tenants is so important to Apex; their commitment and passion are invaluable as they help us improve our services.
We put our tenants and volunteers at the heart of all that we do, and it was an honour to recognise and celebrate this year’s fantastic achievements with them. It’s inspiring to hear at first hand the impact our tenants and volunteers are having across our communities every day to help to make them thriving and welcoming places to live.
