Tackling Loneliness Workshop for Apex tenants
‘Loneliness Awareness Week 2021’ will take place 14 – 18 June. Feeling isolated or lonely can be challenging, especially during a crisis. Apex’s Tenant Participation Team and Red Cross have teamed up to deliver a Tackling Loneliness Workshop over Zoom.
The Zoom Workshop will take place Wednesday, 16th June: 14.30 – 16.00. It is open to all Apex tenants and will address the causes and effects of loneliness and the skills needed to cope or help others suffering.
Apex recognises that feeling lonely and isolated can make life challenging, especially during a crisis. It can be challenging to know how to cope and how to help.
Spaces are limited; to secure a place, please contact one of the tenant participation team members Donna Richmond or Aoibhinn McCrea, on 028 7130 4800.
The Marmalade Trust launched ‘Loneliness Awareness Week’ four years ago to raise awareness of loneliness and encourage people to speak about it openly. Check out Marmalade Trust’s 3-step guide to coping with loneliness.
Apex will be running several events during Loneliness Awareness Week. Please watch out for details.
