Summer edition of The Apex Observer published

The Apex Observer has just been published and is currently being distributed to thousands of tenants in our homes and supported living schemes throughout Northern Ireland.
This edition’s cover story features the exciting news that Apex will begin development of 300 new homes in Newry during the next year.
Inside the newsletter you will find stories on our recent award wins at the Business in the Community Awards and Elderly Accommodation Council Awards; news about a new community hub in Enniskillen and advice in relation to the ending of welfare reform mitigation payments.
You’ll also read “the story so far” in relation to our development of shared housing and an introduction to Apex’s two new directors – Deirdre Walker and Donna Matthewson.
As always, we will have updates and photos from events organised by our supported living schemes as well as coverage of our community building and good relations events held in communities across the province.
Finally, you can read about our ‘Building Blocks for Africa’ appeal to build 13 classrooms for four schools in the deprived district of Misungwi district of Tanzania, in partnership with Children in Crossfire.
