PROSPER Progression to Employment Programme

If you’re currently out of work, the PROSPER Progression to Employment programme could help develop your skills to find and sustain work and enhance your life skills. The programme operates in nine council areas in Northern Ireland and supports local people including those with disabilities, neurodiversity, autism and/or mental health issues.
The Progression to Employment programme is led by Triangle Housing Association, which has over 25 years’ success in employment and training; with the programme currently funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund until 2025.
Taking an individualised approach, PROSPER supports individuals to achieve:
- Employment/career progression
- Numeracy and financial literacy
- Accredited qualifications including experiential learning
- Inclusion
- Reduced poverty
- Increased health/wellbeing to achieve employability

- Ards & North Down Borough Council
- Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council
- Belfast City Council
- Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council
- Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council
- Mid & East Antrim Borough Council
- Mid – Ulster District Council
- Newry, Mourne & Down District Council
The programme is delivered by five organisations: Triangle Housing Association (lead partner), Stepping Stones NI, Compass Advocacy Network (CAN), Access Employment Ltd (AEL) and The Appleby Trust.
