Our new Director of Development
Following the recent retirement of Ray Forbes, Apex has appointed a new Director of Development – Barry Kerr, who brings a wealth of residential development experience to the organisation.
Barry joins Apex from contractor McAleer & Rushe where he worked as Project Manager on purpose built student accommodation schemes. Prior to that, Barry was Residential Development Manager for the FP McCann Group and also worked in England for the UK’s largest house builder, Barratt Homes.
Barry will head up Apex’s development department, leading a dedicated team in their efforts to build high quality homes for those in housing need; whilst complying with all relevant policies, procedures and standards.
Apex is a key provider of social housing in Northern Ireland I believe they are leading the way in raising the standard of housing and residential development. I’m very excited to be joining a team and organisation that is humble yet strong powered.
With my experience and employment background I hope I can bring a fresh outlook, approach and new ideas to the organisation whilst maintaining the organisation’s integrity and high performance.
