May is Tenant Participation Month!
This year, May is Tenant Participation Month at Apex and throughout the month we’ll be hosting a variety of events across Northern Ireland with lots of opportunities for tenants to get involved.
Tenants Association Meetings and Coffee Mornings
We have Tenant Association Meetings in Sheriffs Glen, Clon Elagh, Clon Dara, and Beraghvale in Derry~Londonderry. There will be coffee mornings held in Newtown Green in Comber and Mountainview in Castlewellan for a cuppa and a chat.
Trading Standards
Trading Standards with be coming to give a talk on cold calling and answering questions for tenants in Blenheim Drive in Newtownards, Cloneen and Ashdene in Dungannon and Cavandale in Enniskillen. There will also be information given out on the local oil buying club in Cloneen and Ashdene.
Tenant Panel and Service Review Updates
We have another Tenant Panel meeting this month with our Director of Supported Living, Deirdre Walker, and they will be discussing different topics based on the results from our 2021 Tenant Satisfaction Survey.
There will also be an update for those who participated in the service review of tenant participation, and we will be looking at changes we will be making in the tenant participation department from our tenant feedback.
Cook Alongs and The Big Thank You Event
Our Cook Alongs will continue with an in-person event in Apex Living Centre on 20th May for a summer bake and there will be a Zoom session for the Jubilee celebrations on 27th May 2022. There will also be street clean ups in Blenheim Drive, Beechwood Park and Cloverfield Park for the Jubilee celebration.
The grand finale for this year’s Tenant Participation Month will be our Big Thank You Celebration Event to thank all our active tenants for their hard work throughout the year. This will take place in the Holywell Trust in Derry ~Londonderry on 31st May 2022.

16th – Libraries NI event for over 55 developments in Rathcoole followed by a Rathcoole Gardens Tenants Associations Meeting
17th – Coffee morning in Mountainview, Castlewellan.
19th – TP Service Review Update, Beraghvale’s Tenants Association Meeting
20th – Trading standards in Cavandale followed by tenants meeting, Summer Cook Along
23rd – Beechwood Drive tenants meeting and estate clean up in preparation for Jubilee Celebrations
24th – Blenheim Drive Clean up in prep for Jubilee Celebrations
26th – Cloverfield Street Tenants Meeting and street clean up in preparation for Jubilee Celebrations
31st – The Big Thank You Celebration Event
