The Board of Apex Housing Association recently marked the retirement of member Martin Doherty, who has been involved with the organisation for more than 25 years.
Martin first joined North & West Housing Association as a Board member in February 1996 and has served on all the Board’s Committees at various stages during his tenure.
His journey led him to the top of the organisation, becoming Chairperson in 2012 and remaining there until his term ended in 2017. Martin has also served as a director of Fairbuild and in more recent years as a member of the Board of Apex Ireland.
Peter Caldwell, Chair of Apex, commented:
“Martin has been a true servant of Apex; his contribution and unassuming manner have been a real asset. On behalf of the Board and the Senior Management Team, we thank Martin for his very significant contribution over many years and wish him good health and happiness following his retirement from the Board.”
