Local Agencies Come Together to Launch New Hub for the People of Newcastle
Apex tenants in Newcastle can now avail of a new Community Hub based in the South Eastern Regional College (SERC) on the Castlewellan Road.
The aim of the Hub is to bring together agencies that provide key services to Newcastle residents and includes the Citizens Advice Bureau, the NIHE, the PSNI, Apex and the Social Security Agency.
The Hub will be fully accessible to the public and will operate as a drop in centre, with no appointments necessary. However, these services will only be available on the following limited times and days:
Every Wednesday: NIHE (10.00-11.00am) Citizens Advice Bureau (9.30am-12.30pm)
On the 1st Wednesday of every month these services will be accompanied by:
Apex (11.00am-12.00noon)
PSNI (10.00am-12.00noon)
Newcastle Social Security Agency/Job Centre (10.00am-12.00noon)
To launch this new initiative an Information and Fun Day has been organised for Saturday 25th March 2017 from 1.00pm-3.00pm in the SERC. The community of Newcastle are invited to come along and meet the agencies and find out more about the services available.
