Huge turnout at Eglinton summer fun day
Eglinton Community Hall was a hive of activity recently, as those from the local community came together for a family fun day – one of our biggest community events held to date!
As part of our Housing for All programme, this summer event brought together families from Coolafinny Meadow estate with those from the local community, with a huge turnout of almost 300 people attending.
The family fun day, which was kindly assisted by Eglinton Community Hall, allowed those from the local area to enjoy some treasured family time and enjoy the activities on offer. Children at the event were spoiled for choice with toddler sense activities, face painting, a bouncy castle, petting farm and a magician! This time the weather stayed dry for our barbecue, with the food going down a treat.

The fun day was fantastic. My two little girls and their friend had a ball. There was a brilliant variety of activities and such high standards. Big shout out to the face painters, wow! Thank you for a great free event, looking forward to the next one!
