Apex recently completed the construction of its second Housing For All shared neighbourhood in Portglenone, Gortaheron Drive. The tenants moved in last summer and have settled in to the local area.
We have organised several events for our tenants and the wider community to ensure our development is embedded in the local community and to support the development of good relations throughout the community.
A key aspect of the delivery of a Housing For All shared neighbourhood is the creation and delivery of a Good Relations plan. The purpose of the Advisroy group is to ensure our Good Relations plan is not duplicating services, to provide feedback on the proposed activities in the plan and to champion Housing For All shared neighbourhoods. Apex invited local stakeholders and political representatives to attend the first Advisory Group meeting. At the first meeting we shared information on the background for Housing For All as well as an update on the work we have completed so far.
The Advisory group will meet every six months to help us review projects which have taken place and plan for fututre projects.
