Fuel stamp savings scheme for tenants

Apex tenants can now benefit from a new fuel stamp saving scheme launched by Strabane Community Project in conjunction with Derry City and Strabane District Council and the Public Health Agency.
An information day is scheduled for Wednesday April 13th from 10am to 2pm in the Guildhall. The event is open to the public and staff will be on hand to provide information on how the scheme works.
Anyone looking to avail of the scheme should ask for a free collection card from participating retailers and purchase a £5 fuel stamp which sticks to the card. Stamps can then be used towards the cost of paying for fuel.
If you have signed up to the oil clubs in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area this will be a good way of helping you budget to purchase oil. If you have any questions about the fuel stamp scheme or would like to join the oil club please contact Apex’s Financial Inclusion Officer, Michael Lyttle, on 02871 304800.
Information can also be found on the Fuel Stamp Saving Scheme Facebook page, or alternatively by contacting Angie Porter on 02871 883102 or emailing fuelstamps@strabanecommunityproject.org.uk
