Myra McKeown, Manager, Northern Ireland office says:
“StepChange Debt Charity is a UK wide Charity offering free, impartial, independent debt advice. Within our local NI office our highly skilled Debt Advisors speak to over 200 new clients every month, dealing with approximately £3M of debt. Problem debt causes untold distress to individuals, but the damage goes much further – ruining homes, wrecking families and affecting whole communities. At StepChange we work with clients to resolve the debt problems they face. We make no judgement on the causes of debt problems and work with clients in a sympathetic and supportive manner. We undertake a comprehensive examination of the client’s financial position, discuss appropriate solutions and recommend a way forward for each individual client.”
Apex tenants can also speak privately to our Financial Inclusion Officer, Michael Lyttle, on 02871 304 800.
