Young people from Knockena taking part in activitiesEvery Body Active 2020 in Derry~Londonderry
During August Apex ran two successful sports activities in Derry / Londonderry within its housing schemes at Clon Elagh, and Knockena. Working in partnership with the EEvery Body Active 2020 Programme, Police and Community Safety Partnership and Nisa, Buncrana Road these sessions were provided for free.
The young people took part in lots of fun activities led by Every Body Active 2020 facilitators which included playing football in the Cage Football arena provided by the PCSP.
Following very positive feedback we intend to organise more sports events in the future.
The Every Body Active 2020 initiative operates across all Council areas and were able to make use of the green spaces available within our housing developments.
