Apex tenants in Portballintrae celebrated the first anniversary of their housing development by holding a community fun night.
The tenants wanted to mark the occasion of the first year and worked closely with their Housing Officer Ania Green and Rachel Power, the Community Involvement Coordinator, to plan an event that everyone could enjoy.
The evening was very well attended and the young people enjoyed a bouncy castle, balloon modelling and getting their faces painted. There was a great atmosphere with everyone chatting and enjoying the buns and treats that some of the tenants provided for the occasion. A brief but heavy rain shower interrupted the proceedings but the tea and coffee was moved to a covered car port and the fun continued! The evening finished with everyone enjoying an ice cream in the sun shine.
