Cost of living advice and guidance
A dedicated webpage has been set up on Apex’s website to help tenants and residents cope with the rising cost of living. The page will provide up-to-date information and guidance, including information on relevant Apex services, government support, energy savings tips and budget planning.
A monthly ‘Winter Support Newsletter’ has also been launched to provide tenants and residents with up-to-date information on an ongoing basis. This digital newsletter will be sent out to all tenants and residents via text each month during the winter of 2022-2023.
Donna Matthewson, Apex’s Director of Housing, explains:
We understand the pressures that so many of our tenants and residents are currently facing when it comes to the cost of living. In response to that, we have established a working group made up of Apex staff and tenants to ensure we are doing all we can to support those living in Apex homes.
If you are struggling to keep on top of your bills, please contact your housing officer as soon as possible so that we can ensure your income is maximised and you are receiving all help and support available.
