Coronavirus – visiting schemes

In response to the spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in Northern Ireland, Apex Housing Association is now discouraging members of the public from visiting its schemes unless essential.
Deirdre Walker, Director of Supported Living, commented:
As of today, we are asking people not to visit our schemes unless absolutely essential. This is not a blanket ban on visiting, but we as an organisation are trying to prevent the spread of Covid-19 amongst our staff and especially amongst some of our most vulnerable service users.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will advise when normal visiting may resume. We thank you for your support.
Apex provides purpose-built accommodation for older people and supported housing for people with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, alcohol/drug addictions, those who are physically disabled and young people in need of support.
