Tenants obtaining information from local servicesCommunity Information Event at Ballynafoy Close, Belfast
Tenants from Ballynafoy Close (the first Together Building United Communities (TBUC) shared neighbourhood) together with members of the wider east Belfast community attended a Community Information Event organised by Apex.
The purpose of the event was to enable local people to interface with the range of services available in the area. Those who attended were able to obtain information and speak directly to the staff who work for the wide range of statutory and voluntary groups that operate in the area. Those who attended were able to receive advice on issues such as health and wellbeing, money advice, benefits advice and local voluntary organisations.
The Apex tenants who attended the event agreed that it was very beneficial feeling that they are now better placed to obtain help and support locally.
