Apex tenants in Knockena enjoyed the sunshine while taking part in a community clean up.
The residents had identified litter as being an issue in their neighbourhood and decided, with the help of their Housing Officer and the Community Involvement Coordinator to organise a community clean up. This gave the residents the opportunity to meet each other, enjoy the sunshine and improve the quality of their environment.
Materials were supplied by the local Community Safety Wardens, bottles of water were supplied by the local shop (Whitehouse Retail) and Apex treated everyone taking part to an ice cream!
