Some festive cheer from Christmas 2015.Christmas at Apex
Apex has organised a lot of activities to help our tenants get into the festive spirit!
Firstly we are asking our younger residents to demonstrate their artistic skills with colouring competitions happening in Jamaica Street, Belfast; Creggan, Derry / Londonderry; Cloneen, Dungannon and Tamlough Park, Ballykelly.
Following on from our successful Best Dressed House Competition at Halloween we are running a Christmas decoration competition in Cecilia’s Walk, Derry / Londonderry
Burren Meadow, Newcastle is having a Christmas gardening morning where they are re-planting all the raised planters with winter flowering bedding.
We are supporting TRIAX in Derry / Londonderry with their Santa’s Grotto in the Ballymagowan allotments which is taking place on Sunday 18th December and the Glen View Community Centre, Derry/Londonderry with its Christmas event on Friday 16th between 4 and 6 pm.
Apex is also holding a Christmas Coffee morning and carol singing for tenants in the Newtownabbey area on Tuesday 20th at 11am in Newtownabbey Methodist Church.
Santa will be visiting Ballynafoy Close, Belfast on Friday 16th on his bus when tenants can take a short trip round the area with Santa on an open top bus. Tenants can also come together and get in the festive spirit at our Christmas Coffee Morning at ‘The Shed’ on the Ravenhill Road on Thursday 22nd December 11am-12noon.
