Apex tenants to have access to affordable credit
Apex tenants living in Derry/Londonderry can now avail of membership of Derry Credit Union thanks to the Affordable Credit Project.
Since the start of the Affordable loans project with Derry Credit Union, Apex tenants have been able to access over £40,000 in loans as well as accumulating savings of approximately £19,000. These loans have been invaluable for some of our tenants who were previously being charged extortionate interest rates from other providers.

Michael Lyttle, Financial Inclusion Officer with Apex, will be contacting our tenants through various means over the next few months to help them apply for membership of the credit union. If you are interested in joining the credit union Michael will be doing estate visits where he can complete the membership application on your behalf as well as arrange an appointment with the credit union.
