Chef Charlie showed enthusiastic tenants joining in over Zoom how to prepare a beautiful Thai green curry.

Apex tenants join in Cook-Along with Chef Charlie over Zoom!

Apex held it’s first Cook-Along Zoom class with Chef Charlie Dillon on Tuesday, 9th March 2021. Chef Charlie works with Extern Positive Learning in Derry~Londonderry, having previously worked in several leading restaurants across the North West, including the Belfray Country Inn Hotel as Executive Chef for more than 20 years.

The Cook-Along demonstration took place at the Apex Living Centre in Derry~Londonderry, with Chef Charlie showing tenants watching over Zoom how to prepare a beautiful Thai green curry.

On the day before the Cook-along, boxes of ingredients were provided free of charge to those taking part, so everyone was ready to start at the appointed time. Chef Charlie gave step-by-step instructions on how to cook the perfect Thai green curry and everyone cooked along together. By all accounts the craic was great and the resulting dishes were delicious!
