Apex tenants invited to attend Money Advice Sessions

Apex tenants in Derry ~ Londonderry have been invited to two Money Advice Sessions organised by Dove House Advice Services taking place on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th January 2017 in Creggan Neighbourhood partnership and Dove House Women’s Hub.
These sessions will last two hours each and will give tenants an insight into dealing with debt, budgeting and other money saving techniques. With the cost of living rising annually, these sessions may prove invaluable.
Kathleen Bradley, Co-ordinator Dove House Advice Services, said:
This is a great opportunity for people to understand how and why debt exists, and to find ways to manage it. We would encourage everyone to attend and to become better informed of their finances’
Michael Lyttle, Financial Inclusion Officer, Apex, said:
Learning how to understand money and budgeting can be essential to help tenants on a low income get by. I would encourage any tenants who are in debt or finding it difficult financially to attend either of the sessions as it may help in the long term’
The dates and times of the sessions are:
• Tuesday 24th January 2017 10am – 12pm. Venue: Creggan Neighbourhood Partnership
• Wednesday 25th January 2017 10am – 12pm. Venue: Dove House Women’s Hub, Meenan Square, Derry.
