Apex Tenants and Staff Raise Money for Macmillan

Apex staff and tenants organised several coffee mornings and fundraising events over the past week to raise money for Macmillan who support people facing cancer.
In Ballynafoy Close, Belfast tenants baked for their friends and neighbours which was then enjoyed at afternoon tea. There were prizes for Best Baker, one for adults and one for those under 12s. It was tough competition as everything was delicious!

Tenants from Rathcoole Gardens, Newtownabbey, joined with the local church, to share a laugh and some treats at a coffee morning. This Apex scheme is for residents over 55 and everyone enjoyed coming together and chatting with each other.

Housing Officer, Donna Richmond, organised a coffee morning in Apex’s Belfast office where the staff pulled out all the stops and had a great spread of home baked treats for their morning break.

All three events raised a total of £136 for a great cause.
