Apex awarded highest regulatory rating by Department

The Department for Communities (DfC) has published Apex’s 2018/19 regulatory judgement and key performance report with Apex being awarded the highest rating of ‘1 – meets the requirements’.
The Department for Communities is the regulatory authority for registered housing associations (RHAs) in Northern Ireland. The Housing Regulation Branch within DfC undertakes this regulation activity on behalf of the Department and seeks to protect the interests of tenants, homeless people and others who use the services provided by housing associations.
Based on a review of the evidence submitted by Apex, the Housing Regulation Branch has determined that the association has met the regulatory standards for governance, finance and consumer.
