21 Years volunteering at Apex
Presentation to Clare Cassidy who has volunteered in the kitchen in Abbey House, Derry / Londonderry for over 21 years.
Apex works in partnership with the Western Health & Social Care Trust Learning Disability Programme to create opportunities to integrate adults with learning disabilities in the work place.

The staff in Abbey House have been very successful and supportive in enabling adults with learning disabilities to use their work skills. They are very proactive in enhancing communication, social skills and relationship building with the volunteers

Clare has taken up a new post in Richmond Hall and all the staff at Apex would like to wish Clare many happy years in her new role and thank her sincerely for all her voluntary work which has been greatly appreciated by the Abbey house residents.
