Pink Ladies Choir entertaining everyoneWinter Wednesday
On Wednesday 28th November three Housing Association came together to organise an event for their residents over 50 called ‘Winter Wednesday’.
Apex, Habinteg and Clanmill organised this event at the Maldron Hotel and arranged for different agencies to come along and set up a stand with information for residents to avail of. Such as Libraries NI, Pink Ladies, Cosy Club, Make the Call and Lifeline to name a few.
The Community Safety Wardens and Derry Well Woman came along and spoke to all the residents about the services they provide. This was very informative with lots of chat from the floor too! Everyone enjoyed a game of bingo, heard our first Christmas song of 2018 from the Pink Ladies choir which was amazing and enjoyed sharing lunch together.
The event was a great success with great feedback from residents! We hope to continue this great partnership working in the future.
