Young people getting stuck into their pumpkins.Spooky Pumpkins on the Ravenhill Road
After the success of last year’s pumpkin carving activities Apex, working in partnership with Radius Housing Association, organised a similar event for the wider community living in the Ravenhill Road area. This was termed ‘Bridging and Bonding’ within our Housing for All Good Relations plan.
We had a great turn out with over 100 hundred people, including some ghosts, witches, pumpkins and zombies!
Young At Art ran a pumpkin carving workshop along with other scary crafts. There was also a bouncy castle, face painter and circus performers to keep all the young people occupied!
Everyone enjoyed tucking in to the delicious BBQ that followed.
Apex will build on the success of this event by running more ‘bridging and bonding’ events in the next few months.
