Apex strives to have its tenants at the centre of its focus believing it is crucial to continually seek tenants’ views and opinions. To help us gather views from our tenants we have been using a short survey called a community audit.
We recently conducted a community audit in Magowan Park, Derry / Londonderry. The results clearly showed how important tenants viewed family life and the happiness of their children. A massive 88% of tenants surveyed said they found Magowan Park a good place to live. Apex organised a Fun Day as a thank you to the community for taking part in the community audit.
Community Fun Day.
This event took place over Easter week and thankfully the rain stayed away. Over 50 tenants and their families came out to join in the fun. Parents had an opportunity to meet and interact with neighbours and enjoy a hot cuppa, while the kids joined their friends to enjoy the fun. They enjoyed bouncing on the bouncy castles, watching the balloon modelling and choosing their preferred balloon sculpture while enjoying delicious ice-cream.
Mickey Mouse and Mini Mouse even made an appearance on the day to join in the fun!
However, the star of the day was Twyla a Yorkshire terrier from Magowan Park who won best dressed dog and received a prize kindly donated by Pets at Home.
