The Easter Bunny greets families at the Fun Day in EglintonEaster Fun in Eglinton
Over the Easter period, Apex organised a fun-filled family day for the Eglinton community, following the completion of our third Housing for All shared neighbourhood in the area. The event brought together families from the newly constructed Coolafinny Meadow estate with those from the local community, with a huge turnout of over 120 people attending.
The family fun day, which was kindly assisted by Eglinton Community Hall, allowed those from the local area to enjoy some treasured family time, and was hosted by a very special guest. After being treated to some goodies on arrival by the Easter Bunny, children at the event were spoiled for choice with so many activities organised – including toddler sense activities, face painting and of course the bouncy castle.

Whilst the kids had fun, parents and guardians relaxed and chatted over tea/coffee; and despite the wet weather there was still a queue at the barbecue outside.
Apex is delighted to have had such a great turn out at our first event in the area and we hope to host more community activities in the near future.
