Community Clean up in Swilly Close Portstewart

Apex tenants in Swilly Close enjoyed the sunshine while taking part in a community clean up.
Through our ongoing consultation processes the residents identified litter as being an issue in Swilly park and decided, with the help of Apex staff, to organise a community clean up.
This gave the residents the opportunity to meet each other, enjoy the sunshine and enhance the appearance of their neighbourhood. The young people really enjoyed getting to grips with the litter pickers, and became a bit competitive about who could pick up the most!
Thanks to Causeway Coast and Glens council for providing a skip for the event and Apex treated everyone taking part to an ice cream!
