Pupils enjoying the One World DayApex Supporting local schools to explore diversity
Apex offers funding to schools in the Belfast area towards projects that promote diversity and community cohesion and we were recently very pleased to support Cranmore Integrated Primary School who ran a One World Day.
One World Days are supported by local organisation Artsekta, a multi-award winning organisation that works to develop intercultural relationships at the heart of the community through projects that inspire audiences to engage with the diversity, tastes, arts, rhythms and sights that make up the multicultural life of Northern Ireland.
The pupils of Cranmore Integrated Primary School had the opportunity to learn about 8 different cultures including their language, art, religion, music and traditional dress.
