Woodbank House, supported living – mental health

Woodbank House: situated on the Deverney Road, Omagh offers accommodation, support and care for 16 adults with mental ill health over 26 years of age. It is owned and managed by Apex Housing Association.

Individual Facilities: The accommodation consists of 16 bed accommodation with shared living, dining, kitchen and bathroom facilities set in its own secure grounds with landscaped gardens and patio areas within easy reach of all local amenities and walking distance to the town centre.

Support and Care: Woodbank House provides a safe environment with staff available 24 hours per day supporting tenants to develop skills, take control of their life and get involved in day-to-day decision making. Tenants are involved in the planning of their own support and care service and encouraged to achieve personal goals to become more independent, try new things like education or training, get involved in the local community and take part in activities.

Activities can include:

  • Gardening;
  • Beauty Therapy;
  • Baking;
  • Relaxation Therapy;

Apex staff work in partnership with Supporting People and the Local Health Trust to ensure we meet the individual support and care needs of each tenant.

How to apply for this accommodation

The Housing Executive is responsible for carrying out all assessments to ensure that you are eligible for accommodation in Woodbank House.

Applicants should complete a Housing/Transfer Application form with their Keyworker/Social Worker and send it to the Housing Executive.
