Cornshell Fields is a large modern development located near the Steelstown and Shantallow areas of Derry~Londonderry.

The development features its own shop and community hub and is also located beside a local GAA club’s pitch and facilities. It’s also close to a popular country park with a play park and a walking trail. The area is serviced by a regular bus service giving residents access to the city centre with all the attractions it has to offer.

The name Cornshell Fields comes from a story about Amelia Earhart.  When she landed her plane and wasn’t sure where she was, she asked a small boy and he said “You are in Cornshell Fields”.
